Good value for money. A good introduction to the use of a tablet for graphics
I recently got back into drawing art as a hobby, however, I have very limited room in my bedroom making drawing with paper and pencil differcult. This is the main reason I looked into a graphics tablet, so I could draw without the complications of not having the space to set-up a work area - I opted for the Wacom Bamboo Pen because I few friends had used it and recommended it as well as it was on offer making it one of the cheapest with a bunch of good reviews about it. As soon as it arrived I was pleased to see that it was the perfect size exactly for the space I had avaliable, which was a great relief for me. I found the tablet simple to install and use instantly - I had tons of fun with the handwriting recognition software as well as the simplicity of just plugging it in and drawing etc.
This is an excellent product and works well, the instalation disk supplied also contains a short tutorial which covers all of the important features and allows you to work along with the tutorial to quickly get a grasp of these, additional features can also be downloaded from the manufacturers website. I purchased it mainly to use with "Photoshop Element 7" this allows greater scope and accuracy than using the mouse. It can take the place of a mouse in controlling the usual features found in the moouse. I was taken by suprise at the ease of use of this component having not previously used one. from earlier reviews I understand that this is not the top of the range product but it works extremely efficiently and I can not fault it.
