The perfect balance of sounds
A huge frequency response range, from an ultra-low 3Hz right up to 28,000Hz, is guaranteed by a 360kJ/m3 neodymium magnet for crisp mid- and high-range sounds. That means you can be sure frequencies are amazingly balanced as well as accurately reproduced, and the subtleties of a track are revealed. Lose yourself in your music and reduce sound leakage with the XB700’s new direct vibe structure. This tightly sealed acoustic design allows for a high level of sound isolation. It’s made possible by the integration of gaskets – a rubbery material – and sealing components which ensure that all the sounds now reach your ears. If it’s volume you’re after, super-sensitive 106 microwatts means these headphones can output spectacularly loud sound.

As you would expect, the technical spec is rounded off by an oxygen free copper voice coil and gold-plated L-shaped stereo mini plug. Both ensure sound quality is maintained by minimising degradation through the wire.

quaking bass in your face

just got my sony extra bass phones today and wow these babies are thumping!Bass is full and phat but other frequencies are well spaced and clear without being drowned out.i listen mostly to jungle/drum and bass,dub reggae and speed garage.Well pleased.Sony MDRXB700 Giant Extra Bass Headphones with Extra Large 50mm Driver Unit

These things are just badass

Literally just opened them, first two songs played on them are Hold your colour and The Terminal both by Pendulum, the bass is awesome!! The sound quality is great too
