Sega Rally will encourage players to put the pedal to the metal and enjoy thrilling head-to-head racing. Skilled driving will go hand-in-hand with pure luck as you hurtle around looping tracks in a wide selection of 4WD, 2WD & Classic vehicles that react quite differently depending upon the racing surface. Sega Rally offers a vast variety of fully deformable environments and surfaces, from littered gravel tracks, all weather tarmac roads, to snow driven trails - no two laps will never be the same. Players rallying skills will be tested to the limit as aside from the sleek motors on offer, Sega Rally also offers players an advanced AI that takes into account the racing surface to adapt their driving style to suit. Single player and multiplayer split screen, along with online capabilities will offer race fans an unbelievably competitive and first class driving experience.
This is my favourite racing game, I prefer this to colin mcrea 1 or 2, ridge racer, need for speed, blur, split second, gran turismo prologue, or any other racing game that i have played. Racing conditions, and surfaces are brilliantly well thought out, and make the gameplay so much fun, sure enough there are not too many courses, and not as many cars as some other games, but quality far outweighs quantinty, and the game has enough to keep people playing for ages, and ages. It took me about three hours before i began to keep up with the pack and really race, but when you get in to it this is a brilliant game.
i love burnout paradise,its huge and has loads of features.this isnt so flash,but is more fun and theyve got the learning curve just right for me.if youve played sega rally in an arcade,this is the same but better,slightly harder,better graphics,i love it.you just have to slide round the whole track.you cant total your car but you wont win unless you do most of it without touching the sides.plays more like burnout than grand tourismo.
Once you get past the not so up to date graphics, which arent bad but could have been better, you are thrusted into what you remember most about sega rally, fun!! Its fast from the beginning with dust flying into your competitors face and with a healty selection of cars and tracks you ll be racing a while on this. I will say its quite difficult and the ai wont loose easily. I would recommend sega rally purely for its arcade feel and fun factor, good old fash foot to the floor, get out my way racing!!
