Odyssey Transducers
The Odyssey drivers deliver accurate high frequencies while capable of low-frequency extension of four octaves, unlike traditional powered tweeters. This design provides a full, rich frequency response, from low bass to the highest highs

Slipstream Port Design
The port minimises boundary layer separation, producing high-output bass with low distortion

COE (Computer Optimised Equalisation)
The system equalisation is computer-optimised to provide a rich, complete soundstage over a wide range of listening positions.

OCT (Optimised Compression Topology)
The proprietary compression technology ensures clean, accurate sound at high output levels

AEMS (Advanced Energy Management System)
The automatic battery-saving shutoff will automatically put the system into sleep mode when there is no audio input. The system awakens with just a touch and resumes at the same volume level

Battery or A/C Powered
The system uses six AA batteries and allows up to 12 hours of continuous play at normal listening levels. An amber LED flashes when the battery protection circuit senses that the batteries are low. The system also operates of a standard wall outlet using the included power supply and cord.

Remote Control Included
The JBL On Stage IIIP IR remote has several modes of operation. The music mode allows you to control the volume, change tracks, fast forward and fast reverse. The navigation mode allows you to access menus on your iPod just as if you were controlling the unit itself. You can search your music, watch your slideshows, and find and play your videos.

Good sounds for Ipod and Iphone

It was only when I started looking for a loudspeaker dock that I realised that I needed to get one that worked properly with my Iphone. Be warned that the interference you can get from some of the cheaper speakers really spoils things. This speaker works really well. OK it doesnt have the bass power of a proper pair of speakers but for this size and portability I am certainly not disappointed.

Spot on

I bought this product because I wanted something compact, mobile, iPhone compatible, but yet not compromising on excellent sound quality and I was not disappointed. I travelled around the high street and listened to various brands, sizes, shapes etc. and I found that this one was by far the best sound for the size and price which I was looking for and much better than many much more expensive and larger. Absolutely no hesitation in recommending.
