I wanted these speakers as they had been reviewed by many as having great sound, especially for the price. I had very high expectations, and they were fulfilled. Negatively, the volume control is also the on-off control - and the rounded knob is stiff and slippery, making it difficult to grip. I might attach some quick-set putty to make it easier to operate! Also, the speakers have a heavy, bulky power adaptor, (fitted with a 2-pin European plug) which required rearranging of my computer multiplug. Despite the negatives, I am happy I bought them.
Great pair of speakers in every way. Only if the volume control to turn on and off the speaker is less stiff, I would have given it 5 stars. A great speaker to have overall.
