Way better than the soft cases. Is a bit bulkier than expected but thats not a problem. Fits the macbook/macbook pro perfectly, nice and snug. Dont have to worry about carrying such a precious laptop about with the hard case covering it. Nice design also.
Adds a level of protection to my laptop when travelling, I feel confident to leave in the backpack rather than have to carry an extra laptop bag. I use a 13 inch Toshiba Equium and although the laptop is a little thicker than the case was designed for, it still fits well enough, and has a little bit of room around the edge for a USB key / USB Broadband Modem. It offers more protection than the normal fabric laptop sleeves, and the detailing adds a bit of character to the product. Well worth the money for the added peace of mind.
